What makes this different
We meet dozens so you meet three.
A job board hands you a stack of profiles and wishes you luck. You screen them yourself, at night, after the children are down, with no way to tell a good reference from a polite one.
We work the other direction. Before anyone reaches your kitchen table, we have already spoken with their references, confirmed their employment history, checked their driving record and car insurance, and verified their education.
Most of our work is deciding who doesn't make the list.
Who this is for
Briar & Root places full-time, live-out nannies, thirty hours a week and up, with families in Fort Wayne, South Bend, Indianapolis, and the communities between. We are based in Warsaw.

Who it isn't for
If you need occasional babysitting, a daycare center, a live-in position, or care under thirty hours a week, we are not the right fit, and we will tell you that on the first call rather than after you have paid us.
We place full-time nannies only, thirty hours a week and up. If you're looking for part-time care, we're glad to point you toward better options.
Who employs the nanny
You do. When you hire, you become the household employer, which means you set the pay and the schedule and handle payroll.
What it costs
$3,850 total. $350 to begin, the balance when you hire.
